About me / My approach
Hi! I’m Billie (she/her) and I believe in creating a safe and trusting environment for you above all else–where you can explore your true self, gain insights, and work towards positive change in your life.
My personalized approach is centered around the choices we each make in our day to day lives to meet our unique needs and wants. We are all influenced by our values, beliefs, relationships, and societal pressures–so, when we are able to reflect on our intentions, we can better understand what is within our control and what is external to our control.
I want nothing more than to provide you with a nonjudgmental, and affirming space to walk together towards your ideal life.

Common Questions
Do I need to identify as LGBTQ2S+ to work with an identity-affirming therapist?
Not at all. Identity-affirming therapy is for anyone who values inclusive, respectful care. While it’s especially supportive for LGBTQ2S+ individuals, many clients seek this approach because it offers a safe space to explore identity, relationships, mental health, and life transitions.
Can identity-affirming therapy help with anxiety or depression?
Yes. Many people experience anxiety, depression, or stress related to identity, relationships, or societal pressures. Identity-affirming therapy supports your mental health while recognizing how personal and social factors can impact emotional well-being.
Do you work with families or partners of LGBTQ2S+ individuals?
Yes. Identity-affirming therapy can be helpful for partners, families, and loved ones who want to better understand, support, or navigate relationship changes related to gender identity or sexuality.
Do you offer a safe and confidential space?
Yes. Creating a safe, confidential, and affirming environment is central to identity-affirming therapy. Your experiences, identity, and concerns are treated with care, respect, and professionalism.
