About Me / My Approach
Perhaps you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stretched too thin by responsibilities at work or home. Each day might feel like an uphill battle, leaving you unmotivated or unsure of what’s next. Reaching out for help can be difficult, but it’s also a powerful first step toward change, you don’t have to struggle alone.
Connection can bring relief. Having someone walk beside you can make the load lighter and the path forward clearer. I’m honoured to walk alongside my clients as they navigate life’s challenges, whether that means healing from past experiences, finding peace, setting boundaries, improving communication, or rediscovering confidence and self-worth.
I offer a safe, calm, and non-judgmental environment where we’ll work collaboratively to create a plan that supports your goals. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and goal-oriented, integrating methods such as Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and elements of mindfulness and somatic work.

Common Questions
Do you offer online counselling?
Yes, Lindsay offers online counselling for adult clients (18+) throughout British Columbia.
What issues do you specialize in?
Anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, postpartum challenges, grief, self-esteem, and decision-making.
What inspired you to become a counsellor?
I really wanted to help people - I've always been drawn to roles where I can be helping. And life can be hard! I wanted to be able to support people as they navigate those hard things, so they know they are not alone and can get through it. I appreciate how that human connection can be so helpful and validating in the work that clients are doing in the therapy process.
What do clients often say feels different about working with you?
Clients say they feel seen and heard, working with me, and that they are about to learn more about themselves in the process.
What small changes do you see make the biggest impact over time?
I see learning to tune in to ourselves, and practicing self-compassion, as having significant impacts over time; often these small shifts in perspective can lead to much bigger changes.
How do you help clients feel comfortable opening up?
I try to make sure that the client feels safe and heard in the therapy space, and I work at the client's pace. There is no pressure to talk about anything before they are ready, and the direction and pace of the therapy process are decided collaboratively to ensure the client is comfortable every step of the way. Building that connection and trust first is so important.
