Allie Richert, she/her RCC (pending)

Maybe you're:

Arguing more oftenβ€”or avoiding hard conversations altogether.
Longing for more closeness, but unsure how to bridge the distance.
Feeling worn out from navigating a challenging relationship.
Overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or past experiences.
Lonely and at a loss for how to talk about what you’ve been facing.

Maybe you feel stuck….

Whatever has brought you to this page, I want to acknowledge the courageous step you’ve already made in seeking out support.

As a therapist, I have a deep belief in the human potential for change and aim to co-create a space where people feel safe to explore what it means to be present, connected, authentic, and accepted. I am passionate about the ways that relationships impact our understanding of ourselves, others, and the world. I consider it a privilege to join alongside people in their challenges, transitions, fears, loneliness, and pain, and to walk together towards change.

A little more about me, over the past decade I have supported youth, young adults, families, and couples in a variety of helping roles. Outside of the therapy room, you’ll likely find me reading or exploring nature with my partner and friends - I love hiking, camping, and being on the water.

I work from a trauma-informed, attachment oriented, systemic perspective, informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) in order to hold a holistic view of what it means to be human, to grow, and for all the parts of who we are to be welcome.

You are not alone. I would consider it an honour to hear your story and join with you on your path of healing and growth.

I work with:

-       Couples

-       Individual adults

-       Youth and families

Education and Training:

-       Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy
