Sharon Peters she/her, RCC (pending)
Welcome.
I am so glad you have landed here on this page. Whatever life has thrown at you, you don’t have to face it alone. Whether you are feeling stuck in an important relationship, facing an overwhelming situation or wondering if there is hope for you- I would consider it an honour to walk with you during this season.
I am passionate about healing and flourishing for both individuals and relationships. Our internal world and experience, as well as the people we are surrounded by in our lives, make a big impact on our emotional and mental well-being. I love to help clients strengthen their relationships with themselves and with others.
I support clients with many things including:
• Couples Therapy & Relationship Enrichment
• Family Therapy
• Relational Awareness & Skills
• Emotional Regulation & Capacity
• Embodiment
• Spirituality & Faith Transitions
• Complex Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (C-PTSD )
• Anxiety
• Grief & Loss
My approach is deeply relational and experiential. I work from a holistic, trauma-informed perspective and incorporate several different therapeutic modalities into my work with clients including: IFS (Internal Family Systems), AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) & The Gottman Method. I also draw from interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, polyvagal theory and affective neuroscience.
In addition to therapy, I love: spending time with my husband and kids, being in nature, moving my body (two favourite ways are hiking & volleyball), and reading good books.
