Lauren Huguet - Student Intern
Hello and welcome! I am so glad you are here. You may have found yourself here because you're feeling anxious, stuck, disconnected, or simply tired from carrying everything on your own.
Perhaps some of these statements resonate with you:
I know something needs to change but I don’t know where to start
I thought I’d be over this by now
I’ve gotten good at hiding how much I’m struggling
I want to better at the relationships in my life
I often feel anxious or disconnected
If so, you’re not alone! Starting therapy can feel intimidating, vulnerable, or even overwhelming. Reaching out for support takes strength and courage, and I strive to create a warm, safe, and compassionate atmosphere where you are accepted as you are. My hope as a therapist is to provide a space where you can be your authentic self, feel heard and seen, and know you do not have to carry life’s hardships alone. I believe healing can begin in a supportive space where you feel understood, which is why I view therapy as a collaborative journey.
My goal is to foster a meaningful relationship that is built on trust, and one that supports and empowers you as we work together towards your therapeutic goals. Through my own life experiences, I deeply understand the value of having a supportive, non-judgemental space, to navigate life’s challenges. I take a relational, systemic, and integrative approach to therapy.
